THE BERLIN CLOCK. This clock was invented by Dieter Binninger. The clock was installed in 1975 for the first time at the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin-Charlottenburg near the subway station Uhlandstr. It was moved next to the Berlin europa centre in 1996. A table model above is available and has 2 alarms on this unit. The light at top flashes every 2 seconds. the 1st line are 4 lights indicating 5 hours each, 2nd line 4 lights indicating 1 hour each, 3rd line 11 lights indicating 5 minutes each every 3rd one in red to indicate quarter of hours, 4th line 4 lights indicating 1 minute each.
